About the Event
We’re joining Reid Park Academy’s Hispanic Heritage Night! Join us in the family fun as we spread awareness about free and reduced cost internet services available through the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). The ACP is a new federal benefit program that helps ensure households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more.
The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service. Volunteers will help guide residents through the ACP application process. We’ll have a step-by-step packet to guide you, plus additional staff and volunteers will be available to help.
Reid Park Academy families may also be in need of help with digital skilling and literacy, which is why we’ll also be raising awareness of our Digital Navigator Services, free to all Mecklenburg residents through 311.
