First Day Ready Back-To-School Event: Hosted by ULCC (Urban League of Central Carolinas)

The Urban League of the Central Carolinas is hosting the “First Day Ready Back-to-School Event” on August 19th, 2023 from 9am to 1pm at Silver Mount Missionary Baptist Church!
Hosted by the Urban League of Central Carolinas, they will be distributing free:
- Book Bags
- School Supplies
- Shoes for housing insecure K-12 students
- Plus, 100 Chrome Casts (donated by the CDE) will be gifted to raffle winners!
There will be representatives from CMS with information about busing, free lunch, health physicals, and vaccine information/access. Community service partners working with students and families will also be there to share information.
