Community Listening Session: “Community Priorities for Closing the Digital Divide”

Our 2023 CDE Digital Equity Champions are pleased to announce our first listening session hosted at The Belmont Regional Center: Community Priorities for Closing the Digital Divide. In this listening session, participants will engage in an interactive workshop designed to explore the unique ways communities are impacted by the digital divide, while collectively prioritizing solutions.

The CDE selected nine community-based organizations to work with our Policy, Advocacy and Ecosystem Development team to help us build and serve nine covered populations within the Digital Equity Act (view list of covered populations on page 7 of this document). Part of this work includes hosting and collecting data as it relates to serving said populations and in development of our Advocacy agenda. We’re kicking off this initiative with our first listening session at Belmont Regional Center.
