The P.O.W.E.R. Program is designed to strengthen digital literacy skills among parents in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.
STEPS
- Parents will fill out a pre-assessment form to gain access to the modules
- The P.O.W.E.R. Program consists of four modules that cover topics including:
- CMS Technology
- Global Learning Tools
- Digital Law and Safety
- Cyberbullying
- Future of Technology
- After finishing all the modules, fill out a post-assessment form to complete the program
The program is self-paced and can be completed at anytime

- Support for preventing and dealing with cyberbullying and protecting your child online
21st Century and Beyond Technology
Lessons:- Social media
- Parent expectation on supporting online learning for your child
- Putting it all together
