Residents of Abbington on Mt. Holly are welcome to join the CDE, E2D & Barings at this special event and receive no-cost laptops and support signing up for affordable internet.
This is a corridor-based event, meaning it aligns with the City of Charlotte’s $38.5 million investment to foster beautiful, safe and prosperous communities where families can grow strong and build legacies for the future.
Our partners E2D (Eliminate the Digital Divide) and Barings will be on-site supporting the execution of this event. From a hot dog stand to a traveling children’s book bus (sponsored by the Hornets basketball team), these events aim to foster a fun environment where residents don’t have to travel to get access to crucial things, like no-cost laptops, digital literacy, and affordable internet.
